Rick’s is the 2nd movement from my Casablanca Sonata for Bassoon and Piano, commissioned for the birthday of Fox Bassoon Founder, Alan Fox. I have included both a Solo Bassoon or a Solo C Flute part in this arrangement.

This movement represents the Club RICK’S in the film. Imagine walking toward the club from some distance where you don’t quite hear the band, only the bass and melody. As you get closer the music get more and more full until you arrive at the club, hearing the entire group. I hope you enjoy it.
