The vast string quartet literature is a treasure-trove of wonderful music that translates well for a small flute ensemble, with challenging parts for every player. By incorporating alto, bass, and even contrabass flutes, the depth of these pieces can be realized. While the contrabass flute can cover the cello line without octave transpositions, a bass flute on the cello line is also an option. Available for both C Flute 1, C Flute 2, Alto, Bass and C Flute, Alto, Bass, and Contra Bass Flutes.
