I've always been a fan of antiphonal music. With more and more flutists gravitating to low flutes, the opportunity to create distinct antiphonal settings for flute choirs has increased. As a showcase to demonstrate the breadth of the flute family, the first movement with it's division of high, low, and combined choirs is an especially effective fanfare.
